The problem

A school district wanted one secure way in to every application it provided for students, teachers and staff. It had to work the same on a desktop or a phone.

What we built

We built a portal that brings the district's applications together behind single sign-on, and lets each person arrange their own view. District and school administrators set themes, choose which applications each school and role sees, and can see how the platform is used. We later added a native iOS app for smaller screens.

The system, redrawn

A phone overlaps its right edge, listing services as rows with a small square icon and a grey bar. Below the browser, an admin panel shows three switches labelled Teacher, Student and Required, which stand for district control over who sees each app.My appsTeacherStudentRequired
