This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have. We collect what you send us through the contact form, the standard technical logs any website produces and, only if you accept analytics cookies, a record of the pages you visit.
Who we are
Anitech Solutions Limited, trading as Anitech Solutions, is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. That means we decide how and why it is used.
We are headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@anitechsolutions.com.
What we collect
When you send us a message through the contact form, we collect:
- your name
- your company
- your work email address
- your phone number, if you choose to give it
- the topic you choose and your message
When the form is sent, our systems may also record the address of the page you sent it from and your IP address, to help us spot spam and misuse.
Like any website, the servers that host this site keep standard logs of each request: your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages you request and the time of each request. These logs are kept by our hosting provider so it can run the site securely and reliably.
Please don't send us sensitive information (such as health data) through the form. We don't need it to answer your enquiry.
Analytics and site visits
If you accept analytics cookies in the banner on this site, HubSpot's tracking code records the pages you visit, when you visit them, the site that referred you, your device and browser, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Until you accept, it does not run.
If you have contacted us through the form, or clicked a link in an email from us, HubSpot links these visits to your contact record. We use that to understand what you are interested in, so that when we follow up we talk about what is relevant to you.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to each page. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and does not identify you; it gives us totals, not a record of any one person.
How we use it and our lawful basis
We use the details you send us to:
- read and reply to your enquiry
- follow up on that conversation, for example to arrange a call or send information you asked for
- keep a record of our contact with you and your organisation
- protect the site and the form from spam and misuse
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in answering enquiries about our business, following up with people who have shown an interest in our work, and running a secure website. Where you contact us about working with us, we also process your details to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract. For analytics cookies, our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from Cookie settings in the footer.
We don't sign you up for a newsletter through the form, and we don't sell your personal data. Any marketing email we send you will tell you how to stop further emails, and we will honour that straight away. We don't make decisions about you by automated means alone.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- our website host (Vercel), which serves the site and keeps its request logs
- HubSpot, our customer relationship management provider, which receives your enquiry and, if you accept analytics cookies, records your visits
- Vercel, for Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies
- Microsoft, which provides our business email (Microsoft 365)
Each provider is bound by a contract that limits what it can do with the data. We may also disclose personal data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
International transfers
Some of our providers are based in, or use systems in, the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised by data protection law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK equivalents, or an adequacy decision where one applies.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any working relationship that follows from it. We review what we hold regularly and delete what we no longer need. HubSpot's analytics cookies expire after about six months unless you visit again, and you can delete them at any time. Our hosting provider keeps its request logs for a limited period under its own retention rules.
How we protect it
This site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), so what you type into the form is encrypted on its way to us. We limit access to enquiries to the people who need it to deal with them, and we choose providers that apply recognised security measures.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the UK GDPR if you are in the UK, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
- ask us to delete your data
- ask us to restrict how we use your data
- object to our use of your data where we rely on legitimate interests
- ask us to send your data to you or another organisation in a portable format, where that right applies
To use any of these rights, email hello@anitechsolutions.com. We will reply within one month, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first. There's no charge in most cases.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority:
- in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission
- in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office
If you live or work elsewhere in the European Union, you can also complain to your local authority.
Cookies
This site uses analytics cookies only if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time. Our cookie policy lists every cookie and what it does.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal data, we will update this policy and the date at the top of this page before the change takes effect.
If you have a question about this policy, email hello@anitechsolutions.com.
