Sigma Consult

Sigma Consult is Anitech's Consultancy function

We offer a variety of consulting options across a range of areas.

Mobility and Internet of Things

Mobility is transforming our lives and businesses. How we bank, shop, entertain, travel, learn, make decisions, work, and interact with our customers and employees. We’ve formed a world that only had 500 million telephone lines in 1990 to one in which there will soon be more active cellphones than people. As billions of sensors and devices intelligently connect to form the Internet of Things (IoT), we’ll access all manner of smart products and services via mobile technology and applications

We provide a range of services for mobility. From Smartphone to Tablet, we work with our clients to develop a mobile strategy that converts their business objectives into reality. From hybrid apps to native, for any platform, take advantage of our years of extensive experience in developing for Mobile.

  • Native app development for both smartphone and tablet, for iOS, Android and Windows.

  • Hybrid app development using cross-platform tool kits.

  • Location-awareness using Location Based Services.

  • Responsive and Progressive Web Applications.

Agile Consulting and Transformation Programs

Anitech Agile Centre of Excellence (ACE)

“A cross functional team of Anitech staff that promote collaboration, knowledge sharing and using best practices around the Agile methodology”

ACE was established to help our clients with the introduction of Lean & Agile principles in the end-to-end delivery process to improve feature time to market, support their individual teams and projects, and ultimately guide them in the adoption of these principles. Core to our approach is raising awareness and education within our client organisations, and in particular, ensuring people understand that “agile” is more of a focus on pragmatism, continuous improvement, and people being more effective, than it is enforcing processes where not necessarily appropriate.

To effect these goals, ACE has established a number of services that are available to our clients, inter-alia:

  • Definition of organisation-wide guidelines on agile and lean delivery models. These are constantly updated with best practice arising from industry and internal projects.

  • Project Consulting and Mentoring, which include project-specific agile coaching and oversight to ensure projects adopt and use the appropriate aspects of Agile/Lean.

  • Online Training paths and on-site Training Workshops.

  • Establishment of organization-specific Community of Practice teams.

  • Access to a Collaboration platform to connect with the ACE team, raise requests, review in-flight agile projects, and access our knowledge database.

Agile Training Programs

At Anitech, we employ agile methodologies in all aspects of our solution delivery. From Lean and Kanban to Scrum, we provide or utilise the approach that suits your organisation and goals. Some of the most significant benefits of using Agile include:

  • Customer satisfaction through rapid, continuous delivery of useful software.

  • People and interactions are emphasized rather than process and tools. Customers, developers and testers constantly interact with each other.

  • Working software is delivered frequently (weeks rather than months).

  • Face-to-face conversation is the best form of communication.

  • Close, daily cooperation between business people and developers.

We provide short and long term training courses and frameworks that cover every aspect of Agile development:

Agile Scrum. Scrum is a lightweight agile project management framework with broad applicability for managing and controlling iterative and incremental projects of all types. Lean. Lean Software Development focuses the team on delivering Value to the customer, and on the efficiency of the "Value Stream," the mechanisms that deliver that Value. Kanban. The Kanban Method is used by organizations to manage the creation of products with an emphasis on continual delivery while not overburdening the development team.
